Your Car Could be a Star!Click here to download our conference room software This web service is a central registry for all vehicles 15 years old or older which are privately owned, and whose owners would like to offer for rent or for sale to Production Companies making Movies, TV or Commercials, Music Videos ect., to use as picture cars (background objects). Over the years I have owned some older vehicles that I could have made a bit of money with, if the Picture Cars Wranglers had knocked on my door. Once upon a time I played as an extra on the set of a television series (Bordetown) where I made a few acquaintances within the production companies. Since then, I have rent my motor home to be used as a hang out in beetween screen shot by Cheryl Ladd and a dressing room during a production. When I looked for a site dedicated only to locating older vehicles, which are available for rent, there was none to be found. I thought it would be a great idea to set up a site that would minimize the leg work involved, and the time consumed by the movie industry staff looking for older vehicles for their productions. It has taken this long for the technology to become available to actually launch such a project, but finally, here it is! This web site comes from a combination of all these ideas, and from my experiences. Why older vehicles? Well, newer vehicles are much easier for production companies to find. They can rent them from National Leasing Companies or find them advertised in local papers for sale. We work in partnership with the movie production industry. We will help you showcase your vehicle and give you the opportunity to make a bit of extra cash. I have a great appreciation for the security issues that I'm sure you are wondering about. My goal is to ensure that your property and your identity remain safe from potential thieves and hackers. Register We register motor-homes, limos, airplanes, helicopters, tractor-trailers, mobile-cafeteria, mobile-wardrobes and all on set equipment for hire during production times. These ads may also be placed for free during our start-up period, and may become subject to an advertising fee at a later date. Register Our company treats all advertiser's names and contact numbers as confidential. Any production company may use our search engine in our showroom to locate vehicles. All contacts by the industry will be made through Wheels 4 Movies.com picture car coordinators, wranglers or agents. The final agreement and contract conditions to hire or buy the vehicles will be negotiated between the Production Company and the vehicle owner. Production companies using the service to hire or purchase your vehicles will be collected a finder’s fee after we have certified their legitimacy on each transaction.
